Wanna Train to be a Wedding DJ? Seeking customer service/general labor candidates to DJ weddings/events
Mobile DJ position - Please read carefully:
We are an Entertainment Agency that plans, organizes, and performs DJ/MC entertainment with the use of our sound system(s) playing music for all types of private parties in the Triangle, Sandhills and Triad area Friday thru Sundays. We are seeking qualified candidates willing to invest in themselves to learn the trade with being a professional private party Disc Jockey. Must posses excellent speaking (MC) skills and those speaking skills will be needed on a microphone speaking before a crowd of people at private parties, particularly weddings. Must be fluent in English however, if you are BILINGUAL - GO TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE!
Besides weddings we also do: Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Jr. High/High school dances & Quinceaneras.
DJ REQUIREMENTS:
• Must Have OWN reliable working Laptop to download music program that we will provide for free and bring to the events/weddings as well as professional attire being a suit or shirt/tie w/sport jacket
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Must Have your own Reliable Vehicle to travel to the venue. No Uber or family/friend transportation
• Ability to stand 4-5 hours and multi-task (spin tunes and be on the microphone)
• Available weekends
• Must be On-Time and Dependable
• Need to Speak and Read English Well
• Must possess an Upbeat Lively outgoing personality
• Must be comfortable dancing in front of a crowd and be comfortable speaking before a crowd on a microphone
WHAT WE OFFER:
Paid Training;
• We supply all the equipment/sound gear and we will train you on the set up, music knowledge, and work with you one-on-one especially in the area of speaking on a mic and music knowledge.
• Paid Training is on location
PAY:
$10.00 per hour for outside training at an event/wedding location – a.k.a. “Helper’s Fee”.
$35.00 “+” per hour once training commences for your first event on your own.
$40 - $50 per hour pay increase based on your performance level following 90 days or after 3 or more events/weddings on your own whichever comes first.
Studio training will be provided and is required if you qualify after your interview/orientation
Note:
Studio training is your investment into the Trade and is not paid training however, an investment into learning the Trade with decent weekend supplementary income and on location training is paid cash. Studio training is between 2-3 hours and should only take no more than 3-4 sessions.
• Again this is supplementary income NOT fulltime employment. You are a Subcontractor with the Company.
Training takes time but the rewards are well worth it, tips, good pay, fun work, and basically get paid to party once you get crankin.
