SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 40 hours, potential for OT
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3–4 weeks+
Construction Laborer Job Description:
We are looking for dependable Construction Laborers to support an active construction project on a military base. Responsibilities will include general site cleanup, unloading and moving construction materials, assisting skilled trades, and using hand and power tools to install screws into large construction panels. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a construction environment, following safety procedures, and performing physically demanding tasks.
Qualifications:
Previous construction laborer or general labor experience preferred
Experience using basic hand and power tools
Ability to safely use drills, screw guns, and other construction tools
Ability to load, unload, move, and stage construction materials
Must be comfortable performing general site cleanup and maintaining a safe work area
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Must be able to stand, bend, crouch, kneel, twist, and work throughout the shift
Must be able to safely use required PPE
Steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety vest required
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
