At Small Footprints, we specialize in improving skills for parents and children navigating autism, ADHD, neurodivergent learning, and trauma that impact relationships and academic outcomes.
We help students build the capacity to meet social and academic challenges, rather than just focusing on subject matter like reading, language arts, or math. By increasing their capacity for difficult emotions and problem-solving, we empower children to self-regulate and improve their relationships with peers and adults. While we offer traditional tutoring when needed, we find that learning to process emotions and self-regulate is the true key to overcoming academic and social challenges quickly.
Our CEO brings 25 years of experience as a school teacher, head of school, therapist for autistic students, and single parent.
Our current offerings and rates are:
- Tutoring: $60.00 per hour
- Coaching: $60.00 per hour for parents, caregivers, and teaching staff
- Counseling/Therapy: $80.00 per hour (cash only), available for both children and parents
We offer discounts for time purchased in blocks, as well as for parents who receive SNAP or have Washington State Apple Health. Please note that we do not accept insurance at this time; however, we anticipate being approved for Medicaid (Washington Apple Health), Premera, and Kaiser within the next 90 days.
