KING KEKAULIKE HIGH SCHOOL AUTOMOTIVE PROGRAM
Pukalani, Maui
This is a fun way to share your mana’o and ike and mana! with our upcountry youth. You will be assisting me
running shop labs on Thursdays and Fridays 7:30-2:30 plus a 1/2 day on any other week day, if can.
We will build these students’ self confidence and career readiness by way of oil changes and tire swaps; wiring schematics and welding
$23-25 per hr, approx 17 hrs wk
Duties:
-Prepare upcoming units and lessons (tools, equipment, stations, class materials)
-Maintain shop by organizing, repairing, and improving (facility, equipment, tools, project cars)
-Guide and advise students on mock automotive maintenance and light repair projects
-Oversee and sign-off automotive live jobs for student and school staff customer
Qualifications:
-Willing and capable to work with young adults in an educational automotive facility
-Automotive technician skills (entry level to advanced)
