This Classic FM Stereo Receiver was purchased in 1965 during the winter holidays. It has the optional custom *Walnut Custom Fretted Cabinet which was gorgeous. The original owners really took great care of this stereo system. The 344-B was the cream of the crop new solid-state FM receiver from H.H.Scott.

It offered an astounding 42.5 watts per channel. In 1965 we didn’t have a need for a lot of power. You just need great efficient speakers such as Altec, Klipsch, JBL, Fisher, H.H.Scott, KLH, Jensen, Tannoy, Wharfedale, Bozak, Acoustic Research and Electro Voice.

It would have a perfect condition receiver but I’m missing the Tuner brass knob cap.
