Every spa move is unique, and we know how to protect your spa. We have the experience to get the job done promptly with the newest, best equipment including our Spa Dolly and Spa Wedge spa transport system. A Spa Dolly trailer has a custom cantilevered spring axle minimizing jarring and vibration during transport of your expensive spa. Rather than risk troublesome leaks or broken plumbing, let us do the job right for you!
We are happy to set your COSTCO SPA - or other online purchased free-standing spas delivered curbside via common carrier - onto your back deck or patio. Just call for an estimate and we'll take care of it for you promptly.
We can move your oversize hot tub, Aquatic Training Vessel or Swim Spa provided there is plenty of access to your location and the delivery location is equally open and clear. Swim Spa moves start at $995, or $100/ft depending on many variables. Please call us and be prepared to send clear photos of both the origin and destination access and planned location.
We also offer responsible and environmentally conscious spa removal. We'll load your spa and recycle as much as possible from just $395 depending on access and size. Tubs that measure 84" any side start at $545, and spas 88" or more start at $695, so please be sure to measure your spa and try to find the make and model, usually on a tag inside the equipment bay.
Give us a call and let us help you. If you would like to assist in the move for a few minutes, and are physically able, we may be able to save you money! We can take care of everything, often without you even being there. Just drain and disconnect your spa the night before and consider it done.

LOOKING FOR AN ESTIMATE? Please measure the length, width and height of the spa with the cover removed (Example 84”x 84"”x 36” tall) and call us with that information. We cannot give a firm quote without that information. When possible, please include the age and brand of the spa. It helps us with weight and size questions.
Due to the complexity of moving large, heavy hot tubs, we cannot quote by text or email. We will need to speak to you about access and dimensions first.

******* IMPORTANT ACCESS REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR SPA MOVE *******
PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES NOW SO THAT WE MAY SERVE YOU BETTER AND SAVE YOU MONEY, WON'T YOU?
At BOWER SPA SERVICE, we want to make your spa move prompt, efficient and as inexpensive as possible and help you avoid additional charges. All you need to do is provide us with reasonable access to the spa, a tape measure and a way to send pictures to our cell phone if there are any questions. (Note: Some of the following applies to each and every spa move, and some may not apply to every situation).
ACCESS OVERVIEW AT A GLANCE:
- YOUR LOCATION(S) MUST HAVE SAFE ACCESS. We do not move spas at all costs. Safety is always our top priority. Steep terrain and dangerous pathways may require you to hire a crane service.
- We do not need to back right up to the spa in most cases. We generally park on the street or driveway.
- Gate openings need to be a MINIMUM of at least 35" wide at the narrowest point - or, for taller tubs - 1" wider than your spa is tall without the cover. Please consider gate hardware and hinges in your measurements.
- Our equipment is SIX FEET longer than most hot tubs and will add SIX INCHES to the height of the spa when it's on its side on our Spa Kart (please see images above). This is important in checking corner radius and overhead clearance!
- We must have clear access and room to work around the spa with a minimum of 18" on at least three sides. There are exceptions - sending pictures will help us decide quickly how we can best help you.
- We do not lift and carry spas up and over fences, deck railings or obstacles by hand. Spas are usually moved on their side using our Spa Kart and Spa Sled Mover (see images above).
- We DO NOT lift spas out of decks or holes, or place tubs down into them - even if it's only a few inches or halfway down. Please consider future serviceability before choosing to encapsulate or sink a hot tub.
- We cannot make tight turns - your pathway needs to be fairly straight as our Spa Kart is 12 feet long. Long, wide corners and most backyard and side yard pathways are generally fine (if you can easily drive a riding lawnmower around the corner, there's likely enough room).
- Your site(s) MUST be clear of obstacles and your spa drained and the wiring disconnected from power prior to our arrival.
- Please drain the spa the day before if possible so we aren't working in standing water.
- Our Spa Kart allows us to move spas over dirt, grass or regular gravel quite easily. If you have deep pea gravel, a very muddy or soft path, you may need to lay down planks or plywood prior to our arrival, but that is generally unnecessary. If you can walk without sinking, it's probably fine.
- It is the homeowner's responsibility to disconnect the electrical prior to our arrival - we can only cut the wires to your spa and tape them up. We cannot perform electrical work or connect wiring to your spa. Please consult a licensed electrician to be safe.
- REGARDING STEPS OR OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS: ANY steps, curbs, railroad ties, rocks, sheds, trees, low overhangs or other obstacles - that are in the pathway from or to the spa - may require pictures sent to our cell phone at (541) 787 1191 in advance. Thank you.
Please help us keep your costs down by taking a few minutes prior to our arrival:
- If the spa has not been reasonably drained and ready to move prior to our arrival, a $50 charge may be added to your estimate for that service. A little water is expected and will drain when the spa is moved onto its side.
- Spas that contain even small amounts of putrid or foul standing water MUST be treated with chlorine bleach well in advance of our arrivalor a $50 charge may be added to your quote. Simply pour a little household bleach into those areas of the spa at least 24 hrs ahead to kill any bacteria that is present to keep our crew safe.
- Water-logged covers (150+lbs) that are unreasonably difficult to safely move will add $50 to your estimate and may be damaged due to excessive weight for which we are not responsible. If the inside of the cover lining is holding a lot of water, often making an inconspicuous hole in it will allow it to drain overnight, eliminating as much as 2/3 of the weight.
- We do not move spas through dog or animal droppings - or a charge of $50 may be added for pressure washing our equipment prior to our next appointment. Please clean up the pathway(s) prior to our arrival.
