Entry-Level Machinist
Job Type: Full-Time | On-site
Pay: commensurate per hour, based on experience and aptitude
Schedule: Monday–Thursday; occasional overtime may be required
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Machinist to join our manufacturing team. No prior machining experience is required—we will provide hands-on training for a candidate with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
What You’ll Do
• Learn to set up, operate, and monitor manual and/or CNC machines, including mills, lathes, drills, and grinders.
• Read basic blueprints, work instructions, and measurement specifications under supervision.
• Load material, change basic tooling, and assist with machine setup.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Deburr, clean, and package completed parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, including required PPE and machine-guarding practices.
• Communicate quality concerns, equipment issues, and production needs to supervisors.
What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Reliable attendance and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, vocational training, or familiarity with hand tools is a plus—but not required.
