Professional telephone splicing tool for 3M / Western Electric 710 modular connectors. Seats and cuts conductors on the index strip and connector module. Made in Los Angeles, Calif. Stamped COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION L.A. CALIF. 90064. Nameplate reads C-7342 / 710 CUTTER PRESSER. Casting mark GBO36C800.
Used, original condition. Felt pads still present on the sides. Handle, knurled adjuster, and mechanism intact. Blades are present; inspect sharpness and alignment before use. No case, group holders, or extra blades. Sold as-is.
Would make a good gift for a retired telephone splicer. Still usable today for copper 710 splicing work.
