Remote Client Coordinator/Office assistant— Dog Training & Pet Care
Part-time | Approximately 15–20 hours per week | Remote | Pacific-time availability required | $25–$32/hour, depending on experience
A small, established dog training and pet-care business is seeking a dependable remote coordinator to manage client communication, reservations, and administrative follow-through. Services include private training, group classes, boarding, and day camp.
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the daily details: respond warmly to clients, keep bookings and records accurate, and make sure requests do not fall through the cracks. You’ll work directly with the business owner and receive training on our policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Respond to client and staff inquiries by email, text, and phone during scheduled hours.
* Manage reservation requests, confirmations, changes, and follow-ups.
* Maintain accurate client records and flag and complete missing information.
* Assist with class enrollment, rosters, and interest lists.
* Send reminders, instructions, and follow-up messages.
* Provide a brief daily update on completed work and items needing the owner’s decision.
* Assist with special projects as needed.
* Help owner with daily operation round up.
Qualifications
* Experience managing client communication and scheduling in a busy service business.
* Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and follow-through.
* Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
* Consistent availability during agreed-upon Pacific-time business hours.
* Comfort learning new software and maintaining accurate records.
Experience with Paw Partner is strongly preferred. Experience with another pet-care booking platform, or in a boarding, daycare, dog training, or veterinary business, is also highly valued. Dog training expertise is not required.
To apply, please send a résumé or brief work history and answer:
1. What relevant pet-care or client-service work have you done?
2. Which booking or client-management systems have you used?
3. What hours are you consistently available Monday through Friday in Pacific time?
