This vintage handmade ceramic ginger / cookie jar lamp features a unique drip glaze and marble-like finish.
The lamp is signed, last name Reynolds, but I'm unsure if the first name is Tay, or Tony, or Tom, or?
This one-of-a-kind lamp is in excellent condition, except for a few slight rub marks caused by the lid resting on the lower portion of the lamp. These minor imperfections are hidden when the lid is on. The lid can always be permanently affixed, if desired.
To prevent additional marks from occurring, the raw ceramic contact points between the lid and the base have received a coating of clear silicone rubber.
The power cord and the socket have both been replaced. The lamp is now capable of using a 3-way bulb, if desired.
The lamp is configured for use with a shade that doesn't require a harp. A shade is included. I have a couple that might work well with this lamp.
The coloration includes several shades of green, blue-green, and gray.
Approximate dimensions:
9.75" ceramic height
9" max diameter
15" to the top of the socket
76" cord
