Our Farm has excellent quality milk (and dual) genetic breeding lineages for our herd. Here at Whispers of Eden, we only carry lineages with outstanding temperaments; making our farm's stock perfect for families with homesteads, farmsteads, or hobby farms. Even our oldest, biggest herd sires will come running to the fence to get their hugs. None are ever food conditioned for affection; they come because they love the companionship. All of the Pics shown are of our prior kidded Sibling (or Parents) of the coming kids. Coming kids should look similar to their prior siblings, Dams and Sires.
About Our Breeding Program since 2011:
We breed for top conversion ratios (cost to production); high volume, high quality, high butterfat milk; multiple kids per kidding; and, studs who produce more doelings vs bucklings. We focus on producing Dams with teats that are larger with good flow. We breed for various sizes for the differing needs of our clients; with the bulk being over sized mini's which tend work best all around. The sizes are between true miniatures to full standard (35 lbs to 195 lbs). Our Farm's foundation breeds are all dual use breeds out of registered stock- LaMancha, New Zealand Kiko (American), Nigerian Dwarf.
Are You Looking for Milking Focus? Unsure of what will be best? Our Farm's top milk producer (an oversized mini) Peaked at 2 gal. and her milk chilled to set a butter disk! (Highest possible butterfat content). All lines and breeds produce an excellent quantity of rich, sweet milk. On Males, Farm's largest "mini's" weigh up to 195 lbs; and, the smallest 35 lbs at adult weight.
