Location: Powder Springs, (Cobb) GA 30127
Shift: Monday - Thursday 3pm-10pm
Friday 7am-7pm $17.00 Hourly
Group Home - Community Integration program serves adults who are diagnosed with (IDD) intellectual development disability, to support them in focusing on their Independence with life learning skills and Community Integration.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Advocacy and Communication, including exceptional patience and listening skills
* Address individuals' needs with respect and attention to safety
* Creating a Safe, Clean, and Supportive Environment
* Promoting Skills and Learning
* Conduct monthly drills
* Document mileage in vehicle during each transport.
* Documentation and Record Keeping on Individual Service Plan (ISP) daily, unusual incidents or challenging behavior
* Transporting but not limited to: medical appointments, and other meaningful community activities, etc.
* Medications management/recording
* Simple meal prep
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required (training will be provided).
- Empathetic and compassionate nature.
- Ability to work independently as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check.
- 7 Years MVR
- CPI
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
