SlipGrips Composite Toe Slip-Resistant Oxfords are men's black shoes that provide foot protection. The composite toe shoes meet ASTM standards for impact and compression, but because the material is lighter than steel the safety feature doesn't add nearly as much weight to your shoes. In addition to toe protection, the men's work shoes have a rubber outsole that's slip-resistant. You'll have sure footing on smooth surfaces and can move confidently through your day, even if your job requires that you walk quickly, pivot in a new direction and think on your feet. Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75.
Notice: This quality pair of footwear meets the standard established by the ASTM International to meet Class 75 ASTM F2413-11. Requires footwear with protective toe caps to withstand up to fifty pounds of weight dropped from a distance of 18 inches (Class 75) and a compression load up to 2,500 pounds.
Our shoes have been tested and certify to meet the ASTM F2413-11. Standard classification I/75 C/75 stamped in the shoes. Should any compactor compression load to the toe area occurs or if the sole wear is substantial, you should replace the footwear at once.
