Idaho Fence is looking for a dependable, hardworking Material Yard Associate to join our team in Post Falls. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team.
The right candidate will take pride in their work, prioritize safety, and provide excellent customer service while helping keep our material yard organized and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload customer and vendor trucks.
- Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely.
- Pull, assemble, and prepare material orders accurately.
- Stock, organize, and maintain yard inventory.
- Assist customers with locating, loading, and unloading materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Assist team members and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
-Must pass a pre-employment drug test
-Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical labor.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout an 8-hour workday.
- Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to excellent attendance.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills, attention to detail, and legible handwriting.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift experience or certification preferred but not required.
- Previous construction, warehouse, or material yard experience is a plus.
- Reliable transportation required.
