Job Summary
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Operator, where your energy and precision will drive the production of high-quality metal infrastructure products. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards, and ensuring efficient material handling throughout the production process. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive environment in our state-of-the-art facility.
Qualifications
Must have experience in either: Horizontal band saw, Press Brake, CNC Plasma, CNC Waterjet, or CNC laser. Will cross train in all aspects.
Power tool experience necessary, especially grinders, belt sanders, and drill presses.
Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure.
Heavy lifting required.
Ability to stay on your feet all day.
Proven experience in manufacturing environments.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts safely; forklift certification provided.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
Experience working with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhering to safety protocols diligently.
Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling processes is advantageous.
Duties
Operate manufacturing machinery and material handling equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment, materials, and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
Assist with warehouse activities including inventory management, material handling, forklift operation, and proper storage of unfinished and finished products.
Follow lean manufacturing principles to identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Document production activities accurately, including batch records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
