Honda Big Red Universal Cargo Mount System. Easily adapted to Other UTV models.
Adjustable clips can be positioned in various locations along the tracks to securely control your load.
It is an official Honda accessory (Part Number: 08L09-HL1-100) manufactured out of aircraft-grade aluminum specifically for the 2009–2013 Honda Big Red MUV 700 side-by-side.
Because it is a factory-engineered universal cargo solution for the Big Red, it is designed to mount cleanly inside the UTV's heavy-duty tilting cargo bed.
Key Details & Placement Options
Perfect Alignment: The tracks are sized specifically to match the floor ribs or upper sidewall support structures of the Big Red dump bed.
Front Bed Wall Mount: Most owners mount these horizontally along the front wall of the bed (closest to the cab). This creates a rock-solid anchoring point to hook tie-down straps when stabilizing coolers, toolboxes, or cargo bags tightly against the front.
Side-Rail Configuration: Alternatively, they can be mounted along the left and right inside sideboards to clip in gear and separate loose loads from moving around while on rough trails.Installation Steps for the Big Red
Clearance Check: Drop the tailgate and tilt the dump bed up slightly. Look underneath the bed floor or behind the bed panels where you plan to place the track to ensure your drill bit won't nick any frame elements, electrical wiring, or structural components underneath.
Mark and Drill: Set the aluminum track exactly where you want it. Use a center punch to mark your outermost hole. Drill that single hole first using a 1/4" drill bit, push a bolt through to pin the track in place, and double-check your alignment before drilling out the rest of the holes.
Hardware Selection: Use the tapered flat-head screws provided in the kit. Standard bolts with protruding hex heads will block your single-stud ring fittings from sliding smoothly into position along the L-track slots.
Reinforcement: Always use fender washers and nylon-locking nuts on the back/underside of the composite plastic bed surface. The washers spread out the pulling force so the heavy ratcheting loads won't crack or pull through the plastic bed material under heavy tension
