Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting electricians in various tasks, ensuring safety and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and contributing to the successful completion of electrical projects.
Electrician Duties
Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently..
Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems as needed.
Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
Collaborate on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
Electrician Qualifications
Previous experience as an electrician assistant or in a related electrical field is preferred.
Familiarity with industrial electrician practices is a plus; commercial electrician experience is also beneficial.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Experience reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating safety awareness at all times.
