This is an 8” diameter British Maritime Barometer with a heavy brass frame and quality aneroid movement. The glass has hairline cracks but it is solid to the touch, and the comparison set needle is fully functional. The accuracy has been verified during several Florida hurricanes. Note that the dial is in millibars not inches. If you wish to polish the brass, you will find no cracks in the case. This barometer was designed to endure rough seas.
