Selling an original, heavy-duty 1979 matching Snap-on toolbox stack. These were built at the legendary Kenosha, Wisconsin plant using the thick-gauge, heavy American steel that completely outlasts modern sheet metal boxes.
Perfect setup for a classic garage restoration project or a bulletproof daily user box.
Includes:
• Top Box (KRA-58D): Classic 9-drawer configuration with smooth operating drawers.
• Key Matched: Rare to find as a set—includes ONE original Snap-on key that is factory-matched and works perfectly to lock BOTH boxes.
Condition:
Solid garage patina with minor cosmetic surface rust typical for a 47-year-old box, but 100% structurally sound with no structural rust. All drawers pull out smoothly. Just completely wiped down, oiled with WD-40 to protect the patina, and ready to go to a new home.
Price: $450 OBO. Cash only. Local pickup only.
(Note: I am also selling a collection of period-correct 1970s/1980s Snap-on diagnostic test tools including an MT241A timing light and MT816 tach/dwell meter. Check my other listings if interested!)
