Established Food Distribution Company seeking a reliable Full-Time Driver to operate a 3-ton delivery truck to deliver to customers and pick up from suppliers in a safe and timely manner.
This role includes 2 local days and a 2-day overnight route weekly (Thursday-Friday) totalling approximately 40 hours per week.
We are a very consistent year round operation.
Schedule:
Tuesday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (local)
Wednesday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (local)
Thursday: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (overnight)
Friday: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (return from overnight)
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 3-ton truck for local and out of town deliveries across the Lower Mainland, and throughout Interior BC and Vancouver Island.
Load and unload food products as needed
Complete delivery documentation accurately
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers
Follow all traffic laws and company safety and operations procedures
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Able to work the above schedule including the overnight component
Experience driving commercial or medium-duty trucks preferred
Mountain driving and winter conditions driving experience
Ability to lift and move delivery products
Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused
Excellent communication skills
