Help! I'm in desperate need of affordable housing. I am on a fixed income. I receive SSI for COPD and I require an oxygen concentrator to maintain my oxygen levels in my blood. And I suffer from anxiety and depression so I have 2 well mannered and behaved French Bulldogs which are part of my therapy and my registered ESA animals. Long story short I am currently being put out of the nursing home I have recovered fully in. I am independant and this was a temporary situation agreed upon myself and the social workers here in Door county and the social worker at the serenity springs nursing home. And they were to help me find permanent housing. I am unable to go to any shelter because of my disability and requiring my oxygen machine makes me a liability. I have reached out to Brown Co, Outagamie Co and Manitowoc for all their programs and not one has been successful in helping me, I have been helping myself mostly alone. Waiting for call backs that never come. Or the ones that do turn me away. I don't have a vehicle, but I do have a valid liscense, I am a US Citizen, I was born In MN. I have an income but not a lot. I don't get any other assistance but SSI and Medicaid. My dogs are being sheltered by some private people charging me a fraction of 400 for their care. I am non smoker, drug and alcohol free. I am clean and quiet, I keep to myself. In 2 days this place is giving a notice to vacate in 30 days, on a way it's a blessing because I'm very lonely here. I don't know anyone and I don't really have any one to help me too much. My dad he's pushing 80, my son and sister have their own thing and lives going on. That's all I have. My rental history comes from me sharing an apt with my father for awhile after my mother died and I was on the lease and then living with my son at his apt which I was not on the lease. Then I got sick. So I don't have a lot of reference but I do have personal references and my credit is fair. I just don't want to be living in secretly in a storage unit again as once did when I first got sick cuz I lost my job due to my COPD and my son lost our apt as it was in his name. But we shared rent. Please if you know of anyone or you are someone that can help me with any rental of 1-2 bdrm, studio, efficiency, or private room, temporary or long term. I'm not into anything weird, out of the norm or crazy. I'm easy to get a long with I'm quiet, and I mind my own business. I need my 2 Frenchies and somewhere safe. Other than that I'm not picky .I am interested in the areas of Green Bay and suburbs of Green Bay, Maribel, Denmark,Two Rivers, Manitowoc. kaukauna, Appleton.
