I am looking for a kind, reliable woman to join my team as a Personal Care Attendant in Pleasantville. No prior experience is necessary; I will fully train you! If you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, you will be a great fit.
I use a wheelchair full-time due to a neuromuscular condition and am looking for someone to assist with my physical care. I work from home where I live with my family, and in my own time, I love musical theatre, sci-fi, fantasy, and being creative.
Compensation & Schedule:
• $22/hr base rate before taxes; $26/hr with a high school diploma or GED. (Biweekly agency payroll; not cash)
• Two (2) weekdays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Tuesday and Wednesday preferred)
• Additional evening and weekend shifts are also available
Job Duties:
• Personal care, including hands-on transfers, dressing, bathing, toileting, positioning, and other daily living tasks
• Meal preparation, feeding, setting up my computer for work, and light cleaning and organizing
Requirements:
• Women only
• English-speaking
• Conscientious about health and hygiene
• Non-smoker
• Dependable, patient, and respectful
• Able to independently lift up to 80 lbs for transfers (training provided)
• Licensed driver with a vehicle to travel to and from my home
• High-school diploma or GED qualifies you for the higher $26/hr rate.
• Willing to enroll with Hawthorne Foundation as a Community Habilitation Provider
