Beautiful vintage solid wood storage trunk with a distinctive old-world steamer-trunk appearance. This substantial, well-built furniture piece has a rich reddish-brown finish and wide riveted metal bands wrapping around the lid and body.

Inside is a spacious storage compartment with a raised/removable interior tray for smaller items. Details include solid wood construction, metal banding, traditional metal hardware, wooden carrying handles on both ends, attractive natural wood grain, raised feet and a hinged lid.

Good vintage condition with normal age-related wear, scratches, marks and patina, as shown in the photos. The metal bands have natural oxidation and aging consistent with the piece. It presents very well overall.

A striking and practical piece for blanket storage, bedroom storage, an entryway, a coffee-table alternative or decorative vintage furniture.
