Field Service Technician–Electrical/Mechanical (50% Travel) - multiple (DFW Area)

Job Description
We are seeking experienced Field Service Technicians with strong electrical or mechanical backgrounds to support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical power distribution equipment.
This position involves traveling to customer locations to diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and ensure electrical and mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial electrical equipment, mechanical systems, or field service operations and enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical power distribution equipment.
Travel to customer locations to perform field service, equipment inspections, and technical support.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, power studies, and equipment manuals.
Utilize electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment adjustments, and repairs.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve technical problems.
Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
Follow established safety procedures and customer site requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Two-year technical degree and at least two years of electrical or mechanical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining electrical or mechanical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently at customer locations.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Willingness to travel approximately 50%, including overnight stays.
