We are looking for a Field Quality Control person to visit active flooring and bathroom remodeling projects throughout DFW.
👉🏼 This is not an installation position. You will be inspecting, documenting and communicating what is happening in the field — not performing installations.
What You'll Do
✔️ Visit active flooring and bathroom remodeling jobsites throughout DFW
✔️ Attend pre-construction meetings with clients and installers to review the work order, scope and jobsite details so everyone is on the same page before work begins
✔️ Inspect workmanship, cleanliness and jobsite safety
✔️ Make sure installers are following company procedures and using the correct materials
✔️ Catch problems and small details before they become bigger issues
✔️ Take clear photos and provide updates to our Project Managers
✔️ Communicate professionally with homeowners and installation crews
✔️ Assist with jobsite inspections and punch lists
✔️ Help resolve minor field issues when appropriate
✔️ Ensure excess materials are properly handled/returned and clients receive appropriate leftover material
What We're Looking For
• Must have hands-on flooring and/or tile/bathroom remodeling experience
• This role inspects both flooring and bathroom projects, so you must already understand basic installation methods, materials, floor/subfloor preparation and waterproofing concepts
• Extremely detail-oriented — you need to notice things others miss
• Reliable, responsible and comfortable working independently in the field
• Professional and personable with homeowners and tradespeople
• Great attitude and willing to learn our standards and procedures
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Spanish is a strong plus
• Comfortable taking photos, using smartphone apps and communicating findings electronically
• Drug-free
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day driving between jobsites throughout DFW
About the Role
This is a field quality-control position, not a project-management position.
Your focus is the jobsite: make sure everyone understands the project before work begins, inspect the work as it progresses, communicate with the crew and customer, document what you see, and report your findings to the Project Managers.
We're not looking for someone who thinks they know everything. We're looking for someone with solid flooring/remodeling fundamentals who is dependable, observant, professional, and eager to keep learning.
