We are hiring a Product Tester to check, clean, and test consumer electronics — video game consoles, controllers, boomboxes, and radios — before they go out for resale. This is not a passive job, and it's not a job where someone walks you through every step. We need someone who already understands how this equipment works (or can figure it out fast on their own) and uses their head — troubleshooting issues, catching problems, and making judgment calls without needing constant direction.
This is a growth position — as you prove yourself, pay increases regularly and there's opportunity to take on more responsibility over time.
Job Duties
Test video game consoles and controllers for full functionality
Test boomboxes, radios, and other audio electronics
Clean products to resale-ready condition
Inspect for damage, missing parts, or defects
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues independently
Flag and sort items that fail QC
Keep testing station organized and stocked
Move quickly through volume without cutting corners
Requirements
Real hands-on experience with gaming consoles/electronics required (know your way around a PS5, Xbox, Switch, etc. — you should already know how to check if something works)
Able to self-troubleshoot and problem-solve without being walked through it
Good attention to detail — this is quality control, not just speed
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation if commute exceeds 30 minutes
Must speak and understand English
Bilingual a plus
