Place To Shower While Going To Events (Near Metro Rail)

I'm looking for a new job and want to find an affordable way to visit the city during days (likely no overnight stays) for networking purposes. I'm looking for a place I may be able to store a day bag with change of clothes and take a shower. Usually I go to events in Northwest. Anything in a safe neighborhood and walking distance to the Metro would be great.
About me: I do not drink. I come in for networking events like Profs & Pints, other intellectual events.
Price: tell me what you think is reasonable for a rate on days I am in. It won't be every day/night.
