For the past ten years I’ve lived and worked in Eugene under the auspices of a retired fine art painter who suddenly passed away last month, so I’m reaching out now for a place to live. I’d like to stay close to Eugene - within 10 miles preferrably, to be close enough to the hotels. I can afford no more than $600 per month electric included. Water is optional, no sewage required - plus any work you might need help with on the property within reason would be my pleasure. For example I could clean out the gutters, but I would be reluctant to install a new roof. I’m an academically trained painter, so ideally I would prefer a modest, private art studio. I have a reliable car, and will be acquiring a small Aloha camper in October which I intend to restore and modernize. I’ve never used drugs and I don’t smoke, drink, or have any pets. I’m quiet, peaceful, open-minded, and resourceful, and I’ve been working the front desk office for two hotels downtown for the past two years while occasionally house sitting in the neighborhoods near U of O since 2017. If you’re considering lowering your costs by inviting a tenant on your property, with me you would have a trusted, courteous, unimposing hotel professional without visitors, who would mainly brew his coffee, restore things, work long hours for two hotels, and sleep.
