About the Role:
We are a growing local sign company looking for a reliable Sign Installation Assistant / General Labor Helper to join our team immediately. You will work directly alongside our lead installer on job sites across the Pittsburgh area.
Great opportunity for someone with a background in general labor, construction, roofing, siding, or handyperson work who wants steady hours, solid pay, and to learn a specialized trade.
Key Responsibilities:
Load/unload trucks, stage materials, set up ladders, and prep job sites.
Assist in installing post and panel signs, window vinyl graphics, and dimensional lettering.
Safely operate basic power tools (drills, impact drivers, tape measures, levels).
Perform basic assembly and installation tasks independently as needed.
Requirements (Must Meet All):
Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (Required).
Background Check: Must pass a standard background check prior to hire.
Physical Capability: Must comfortably lift, carry, and maneuver 75+ lbs daily.
No Fear of Heights: Comfortable working on 16–24 ft. ladders, scaffolding, and elevated bucket trucks.
Basic Tool Skills: Familiar with standard power drills and hand tools.
Punctuality: Reliable transportation to get to the shop on time every morning.
