Original Xbox 1.0 or 1.1 revision. Board has extra RAM pads for modding. Below is a description of the servicing/testing I undertook. Most likely fully functioning, just never got a video cable to test.
Pickup in Mt. Washington
Cash or Venmo, $129 OBO
Bought untested for a project over a year ago.
Warranty sticker hadn't been disturbed yet. I decided to open the console up.
-1.0 or 1.1 console revision, its been a year since I last opened it but I'm confident of the RAM pads being there.
-I cleaned the boards and removed all the dust I could
-Clock capacitor hadn't leaked or blown up, so I removed it from the board.
-replaced thermal paste under CPU chip
After this, I put it back together powered the console on.
-yellow power light appeared, meaning no video signal was displaying. Again, I had no video cable so the light was accurate.
-exhaust fans engage
Console most likely just needs its peripherals and you'll be good to go! I'm open to answering other questions as well. Thanks for reading!
