Pretty Boy is honestly one of the nicest stallions I’ve ever owned. He is extremely calm, intelligent, sensible, and about as steady as they come. He isn’t spooky and has never offered any aggressive behavior toward me or anyone else.
He has been handled around children regularly, and the kids have even sat on his back plenty of times, although he has never been formally broke to ride.
Pretty Boy picks up his feet well, stands tied without an issue, leads beautifully, and loads pretty well. Catching him is almost unnecessary. Most of the time he is already waiting for me at the gate and sometimes practically blocking it, ready to have his halter put on and come out. He absolutely loves attention and will do just about anything for a treat.
He can be a little “clingy” and likes to stay right beside you, but he is not the type to crowd, cut you off, or push you around like some pushy horses.
We are only offering him for sale because we have several other projects that need our attention, and keeping a stallion separate from our mares is extra work that we just don’t need right now.
Please understand that he is still a stallion. He is exceptionally well behaved, and when mares aren’t around you could easily mistake him for a gelding, but he absolutely knows what a mare is and will get excited when he sees one. He remains manageable, but anyone purchasing him should be comfortable owning and handling an intact stallion.
