Since we switched to an induction stove and freeze drying foods, we no longer have a need for this Presto Pressure Canner.
This is not your Mom's canner with a rattle pressure regulator, lot's of steam and heat.
On our electric flat top range, we would load this with 7 quart jars of green beans, bring the pressure up to 11 PSI and let it idle for 40 minutes. There is no steam and it doesn't put off that much heat.
We have literally canned 100's of gallons of tomatoes, sauerkraut, green beans and more with this canner.
