Hello! I have a 2 bed/2bath apartment in Pinellas Park and am starting my search to find the right person to share it with.
About the room and apartment complex:
*Rent would be $900 for each of us, water & electric split in 1/2, and internet is free for the first year
*I am the only person living here and am only looking for one other person to share the apartment with, no couples please
*The room is spacious (11x13), unfurnished, with a private, attached bathroom and a walk in closet
*The apartment is on the second floor and has a screened in balcony with a small private laundry room for us to share
*The grounds have a lake, picnic tables, a grill, a pool, and a fitness center you can use if you want to pay the $40 for a fob for access to the fitness center (completely optional)
*The entire property is non-smoking, per lease agreement, including vaping so if you do either it needs to be done off property
*No prior domestic, burglary, S/A or child abuse related charges - the complex and myself will run background checks
About Myself:
*I am a single 35yr old woman with no pets, no children, who has been at my current job in Pinellas for 4 years now and loves it here.
*I am a responsible, keep to myself type, with a good head on my shoulders who values coming home to a clean, peaceful home
*I work days full time at a shipping warehouse Monday-Friday and have weekends off. I'm usually home by 3:30 on week days but a couple evenings out of the week I also delivery drive, so I usually work overtime every week.
About The Housemate I Am Seeking To Share My Space With:
*Very importantly is work schedule - I am specifically looking for a die hard 2nd shifter who strickly works evenings/nights (3-11s, 2-10s, etc)
I have found that working the opposite schedule makes living with another person much more comfortable because both parties get to enjoy their space in the common areas and have their privacy.
My last two housemates worked second shift, I work days, and this worked amazingly for us for years.
If replying, please include the specifics of what your work schedule is.
*I'm seeking someone who has had adequate experience living alone or with other people who are not mom, dad, or a significant other, as I don't wish to be an inexperienced persons' learning curve again.
*Someone gainfully employed who has been with their current employer for at least 6 months to a year and can provide pay stubs to show it.
Please be established here with a Florida drivers license and good recent employment history if responding.
*Great credit is not required, but a $900 deposit is.
*Cleanliness is very important to me so if you are a person who tends to be a little sloppy or lax with keeping the common areas tidy, we will not be a right fit together.
*Lastly, but very importantly - I do not mind renting to a man or women, but I have found that lifestyle compatibility is extremely important in terms of how frequently each party wants to have guests over.
In my experience, extroverts should generally live with other extroverts, and introverts with other introverts, or huge incompatibility issues often arise.
I am an introvert that takes home security very seriously and does not have people in my home often.
I don't mind an occasional guest being brought over responsibly, but if you are a highly social person whos lifestyle involves bringing random hookups home or new dates/people you hardly know, or you like to use your home as a social space to hang out and bring people over frequently, I cannot stress enough that we will not be compatible living together.
My home is my peace, safe haven, and place to get away from others and the world. It is not the type of environment I like to treat like a hotel, a frat house, or a place for people to come congregate regularly.
I am seeking a fellow introvert like myself who feels similar about their home life and who genuinely values a more peaceful safe space without a lot of strangers and foot traffic coming through.
