Our client in East Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Picker / Packer. You will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in containers and bins following specific instructions, and arrange containers on pallets. You will perform duties in accordance with standard operating instructions, and ensure inbound and outbound shipments are correct and defect-free.
The Day-to-Day:
Picking/Packing product
Check containers for damage, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected
Sorting Product
Making/putting together various-size boxes
Putting old/scraped boxes into the compactor
Other duties as assigned (such as sweeping, keeping isles and warehouse clean)
About You:
High School diploma or equivalent
Physical requirements include walking, stooping, lifting to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods of time.
Minimum 1 year of picking/packing and RF Scanner experience in a warehouse environment
Able to meet the physical requirements of the position
Meet or exceed department productivity standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under time constraints
Ability to maintain accuracy, safety, and focus while performing work
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Pay Rate / Shifts:
$19.50 /hour
10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
4, 10 hour shifts
Days provided when you start (set schedule)
Friday & Sunday are required days to work for everyone
OT available when needed
