We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cabinet Shop Employee to assist in the fabrication, assembly, finishing, and installation preparation of custom cabinetry and millwork. The ideal candidate will have experience operating woodworking machinery, reading shop drawings, and maintaining high-quality craftsmanship standards.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists.
* Build and assemble cabinets, drawers, doors, and custom millwork components.
* Operate woodworking equipment including table saws, edge banders, sanders, and drills.
* Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and composite materials.
* Perform sanding, finishing, and quality-control inspections.
* Assist with hardware installation and cabinet preparation for delivery.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Load, unload, and move materials within the shop.
* Follow company procedures, production schedules, and safety requirements.
* Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
* Experience in cabinet making, woodworking, carpentry, or a related field preferred.
* Ability to read and understand shop drawings and measurements.
* Knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
* Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
