Screen printer, part marking technician
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift, (6:00 PM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday, overtime as needed)

Description
This is not a T-Shirt printing position but a screening of various colors and designs onto a wide variety of manufactured metal substrates using drawings and specification instructions. Candidates should be detail oriented, focused and driven to process high-quality markings on customer parts used in the military, medical, and semiconductor manufacturing industries.
Responsibilities
* Create marking fixtures (must be creative) to hold custom screens
* Prepare graphics for transparency printing, and burning into emulsion prepared screens.
* Receive and verify incoming inventory shipments.
* Mix ink to match color charts from job proofs.
* Pour ink into screen frame and draws squeegee across screen to transfer image
* Produce quality product that conforms to specifications and check accuracy with calipers
* Consistently produce quality prints that meet all specifications for accuracy and cosmetic appearance per drawing requirements.
* Break down and clean up of screens once job is completed.
* Complete tasks effectively and efficiently even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments
* Manage current inventory counts and custom order quantities to ensure all orders are fully completed.
* Must work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications
* Ability and willingness to work in a team environment
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, stand for long periods
* Perform duties in a safe manner utilizing and observing all safety rules and regulations.
* Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple drawings and instructions
* Programming is a plus but not required
* Preferred: Bilingual English and Spanish
