We are a small but growing catering company with our main focus being upon school lunches, specifically making school lunches that kids actually enjoy.
The position requires lifting food transport boxes full of food weighing 30-50lbs.
Full time
$19-$22/hr. + Fuel Reimbursement (if you have reliable vehicle & insurance) the kitchen is at 19th & cactus and the school site is 40thst and baseline
30-40 hours/week
Duties
• Above all provide quality customer service to our clients of all ages
• Assist with food prep
• Deliver plate and serve catered lunches
• Set up for service and serve with a sense of urgency
• Be responsible for all paperwork for meal delivery including taking and recording food temperatures.
• Ensure that food safety procedures are always followed
Experience and Skills Required
• 1-2 years in a fast-paced service environment
• Basic math skills addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Basic computer skills: email, logging in and out of POS systems
• Organization: filing paperwork, receiving deliveries, proper storage of food
• Follow directions such as timelines, procedures, & supervisor expectations
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Food handler card or ability to pass the test (We will pay for it)
• Ability to read, write and speak basic English is preferred
