We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Plant Specialist to join our Happy Valley Plants team! This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Happy Valley Plants is an online plant business shipping plants throughout the United States and internationally. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Position Details
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Start Date: Immediately

Seasonal Work Schedule
Winter: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Spring/Fall: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Summer: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
Online Orders and E-commerce
Assist with daily online order processing.
Help manage product listings, pricing, and availability.
Monitor incoming orders and ensure order information is accurate.
Support promotions and online sales activities.
Inventory
Monitor plant and product inventory and availability.
Help maintain accurate inventory records.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
Ensure plants are packaged safely and appropriately.
Assist with shipping schedules, carrier pickups, and dispatch.
Monitor tracking information and help address shipping delays.
Maintain order accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Domestic and International Shipping
Assist with domestic and international order processing.
Help prepare shipping documentation and communicate with customers.
Follow established procedures for applicable plant shipping, import/export, and customs requirements.
Help resolve shipping delays and delivery issues.
Customer Service
Respond to customer questions about orders, payments, and shipping.
Assist with delayed, damaged, missing, or incorrect orders.
Help coordinate customer complaints, returns, and refunds.
Maintain professional and helpful customer communication.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and online order systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous e-commerce, shipping, plant, or customer service experience preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
