A high quality, great sounding amp that offers a wide array of tonal possibilities and features characteristic of the Mesa/Boogie product line.
The Mark V has three channels, each with three different amp circuits for a total of 9 amps in a single chassis.
Channel 1 has three Fender-like clean tone circuits called Clean, FAT and Tweed.
Channel 2 has dirty tones called EDGE, CRUNCH and MARK I. To my ears EDGE is similar to the Marshall Plexi type sound, and CRUNCH a Marshall JCM800 type sound.
Channel 3 yields high gain tones with the Mark II C+, Mark IV, and EXTREME circuits.
All three channels can be set independently to run at 90 watts, 45 watts or 10 watts, good for headroom control. When in 45 watt mode, both channel 1 and channel 2 can independently use diode or tube power rectification. Channel 3 can be set to pentode or triode configuration. Each channel has its own gain/volume/presence and EQ controls, reverb, and can run through the graphic EQ or not.
The overall volume of the amp is controlled by a separate master volume section located near the power switches. Electrical power can be run in Full Power mode, or in Variac Power mode for that "sag / brown sound". Footswitch can control channel selection, effects loop on/off, reverb on/off, graphic EQ on/off, etc.
The head is loaded with four Mesa quad matched 6L6 power tubes and Mesa 12AX7 preamp tubes all with plenty of life left in them. The Mark V can also be fitted with EL34 power tubes for a more British vibe. As long as the amp is outfitted with a Mesa quad-matched set of power tubes there is no need for the amp to be biased. Just drop in the Mesa quad matched set of 6L6s or EL34s and set the power tube switch to the appropriate power tube type.
Comes with a Mesa dust cover, power cable, Mesa footswitch and connection cable.

A rugged, 8-ohm, closed back 2x12 cab loaded with two UK-made Celestion 16-ohm, Vintage 30 speakers wired in parallel. The rear panel contains a single speaker-cable input jack. It has a top mounted carrying handle and removable castor wheels. Comes with a Mesa dust cover and a high quality 12-guage speaker cable.
Both items are in like-new / excellent condition, function properly, never gigged, and have been kept in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
$2100 for the head.
$700 for the cab.
