We are a family-owned company seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment, trailers, and light- to medium-duty trucks. Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, trailers, and trucks.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow verbal and written instructions while working independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience in a shop environment.
Minimum 2 years of electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
Minimum 1 year of hydraulic systems experience.
Minimum 1 year of welding and fabrication experience.
Minimum 1 year of diesel engine repair experience.
Requirements
Must provide your own general mechanic's tools (specialized shop tools are provided).
Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable transportation.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Schedule
Full-time
40-hour work week
Work Environment
Shop and outdoor work environment.
Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working in varying weather conditions.
Compensation
Up to $40.00 per hour, based on experience.
