Seeking 1 dynamic person to work as a Manual Machinist. This Metal Shop needs machinists with medium size (cylindrical approx. 1 ft. X 8ft) product steel machining experience. This is a FULL-TIME position. Machinists will repair or produce parts using both manual-and automated equipment with precise measurements. Set up, tear down and part inspection are all part of the process.
Experience with Manual operation of engine lathe and mil. Lathe, Bridgeport, and cut off saw knowledge required.
Welding experience is helpful. Rework in nature. Very high tolerances must be maintained and careful consideration to accuracy.
Proficient with dial indicators, calipers, various size micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
