Some of my favorite students with the most rewarding musical journeys are people who started as adults. No musical background. No special talent. Just a genuine desire to finally do something they've wanted to do for a long time.
I have a new student, a retiree who's been taking lessons for 1.5 years, and he just played his first concert!! Was it tough? Yes. Was it perfect? no. But does it matter?? NO! because he's doing it and he's enjoying something he's always dreamed of. This could be you ;)
Music doesn't have to be complicated. You don't have to be a virtuoso to enjoy yourself. Sometimes it's enough to sit down after work and play a song you love. Or play in the garage/around the campfire with some friends. Sometimes it's just nice to have something in your life that lets you express yourself.
I teach online lessons for adults of all experience levels, from complete beginners to people picking up an instrument again after years away.
Lessons are conducted online through Zoom, making it easy to learn from home without fighting traffic or rearranging your schedule.
