IF IT’S SO GREAT, WHY AM I SELLING IT? Because it wasn’t supposed to be a freezer.
One of my dog-sitting clients had 2 large refrigerators and 2 large freezers that all looked alike. As part of her divorce. her now-ex-husband was permitted to come to the house and get some things, including one of the matching sets of fridge/freezer. He asked what she was going to do with the other set and she told him (name) was taking the freezer and she had promised the fridge to me as partial payment for all of the packing and moving work I’d done for her. When I got there to pick it up, ‘the fridge’ was standing in the same place it always had been, so my muscle helper loaded it into my truck. I took it home, unloaded it, washed it out, got it moved into my kitchen and plugged it up. The next day I had an appointment I had to head out to, so I put a gallon of water in ‘the fridge’ and left. Since I have been without a refrigerator for years, I was so excited to know that when I got back I would have cool water to drink. When I opened the door of ‘the fridge’ what I found, instead, was a frozen-solid gallon of water. I thought that must have happened because the temperature knob looked like it was turned almost all the way and there was no other food in the fridge, so I turned the temperature knob the other way, put a couple of small water bottles in ‘the fridge’ as testers and waited another day. They, too, froze solid.
I checked the brand and model number online, and that’s how I discovered the ex-husband had switched out the 2nd freezer and put it in the spot where my intended refrigerator had been. I don’t know who ended up with a fridge instead of the freezer they wanted, but someone did – or, maybe the ex-husband took the 2nd fridge, too.
It’s in great shape, and the hinges are on the right-hand side, if that info’s important to you.

It’s white and there is no little kids crayon art on it.
There are two wire shelves and two large baskets and 6 shelves on the door.
The indoor overhead light is a nice size and works.
The front protective pieces for the shelves are still on all of the door shelves. However, there is a small curved bit removed from the shelf itself of the three bottom doors, which I didn’t understand until I called the client. The handyman who brought ‘the fridge’ inside for me said he could screw some small strips of sealed wood in to fill in those spaces.
I contacted my client about the situation, she could hardly believe what I told her; but, she asked if there were curves cut out of the bottom three door shelves. When I said yes, that confirmed the ex had, indeed, taken my fridge and put this freezer in its place. She said they had had a beer company, so they had removed a small curved bit from the three bottom door shelves so a keg could fit on the bottom shelf. She said that’s why the temperature gauge had been turned down so much, so the beer would stay very cold but not freeze.
You need to bring your own truck, muscle and hand cart – but, please come quickly. I need a refrigerator and there’s now this great freezer standing in the spot I had cleared for the fridge.
