Full-Time Maintenance Technician / Handyman (Phoenix Metro)

Value Living AZ is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician / Handyman to support our growing portfolio of hospitality, healthcare, and residential properties. While your primary work location will be Hotel Rising, you'll also assist with maintenance at our Behavioral Health Residential Facility (BHRF), Assisted Living Homes, and residential rental properties throughout the Phoenix metro area.

What You'll Do
Perform routine property maintenance and repairs
Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues
Repair drywall, paint, doors, locks, cabinets, flooring, and fixtures
Complete hotel guest room maintenance and preventative maintenance
Prepare rental units for new tenants (make-ready turnovers)
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
Maintain building safety, cleanliness, and appearance
Perform preventative maintenance inspections
Assist with landscaping, irrigation, and exterior maintenance as needed
Coordinate with vendors when specialized repairs are required
Keep accurate records of completed maintenance work
Help identify opportunities to improve property condition and reduce maintenance costs
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
Has 2+ years of general maintenance or handyman experience (preferred)
Is knowledgeable in basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs
Can diagnose problems and work independently
Has excellent attention to detail
Is dependable, organized, and takes ownership of their work
Has strong communication and customer service skills
Can lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
Has a valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
Can pass a background check
Experience working in hotels, apartments, healthcare facilities, or commercial properties is a strong plus.
Compensation & Benefits
$20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on skills and experience
