I just renovated, painted, and filled it with my eclectic antiques, plus some other things & art.
The new kitchen has *beautiful* stone counters, custom wood cabinets, gas range (w/ real exhaust hood), double-sink w/ disposal, lots of storage and workspace, and dishwasher. Fridge has filtered water & ice-maker.
Bathroom has new wall tile & fixtures, and full-size tub. Toilet has hot & cold bidet.
Larger bedroom has a queen bed (with a decadent Tuft & Needle matress), smaller has full. Each has closet and more storage.
Living room is spacious. TV has Roku - you can use my services (like HBO, Criterion, Kanopy, Shudder, etc), and add your own.
Hardwood floors in living & bed rooms.
Laundry room (free) is just off kitchen/dining, shared with tenant of separated apartment and me - I live out back, so I'm also available easily if you need help with something. There's some space in the laundry room if you want to store your suitcases and such there.
Front & back patios- back has screened area w/ lights & fan, comfy seating, and I just built a fountain in the garden, plus added wood fencing for privacy.
High-speed wifi and all utilities included (yes - that means electric, even during our always-triple-digit "Hell City" summers - the a/c was replaced about 2 years ago).
House is off the Melrose strip & Uptown Plaza. 3 grocery stores less than a mile away, lots of other shopping, eating, nightlife. This is a very queer- and family-friendly neighborhood. In the Osborn School District (ranked #3 in AZ), and walking distance to Central HS.
Driveway fits 3 cars, and there's plenty of safe street parking.
Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside, but outside is fine. If you have dogs or cats the living room rug will be removed.
Due to problems with past tenants' pets, I now require an extra $650 deposit for dogs or cats. No other mammals (rodents, ferrets, etc) or birds are allowed. Terrarium lizards or tortises are fine (and do not require extra deposit), same for fish.
One month's rent deposit. Lease is month to month, with agreement that - barring major problems - we give 1 full calendar month minimum for terminating lease.
If you have an EV we can set-up charging and work out a fee.
I charge nothing to apply - I'll just need a copy of your license and employment/income information.
