Gyro House 32 is looking for a dependable line cook to join our kitchen team. You'll prepare gyros, shawarma, bowls, salads and other menu items: help keep orders moving during busy shifts; maintain a clean, organized workspace.
We are looking for someone with kitchen experience who take pride in good food, consistent quality, and working well with a team. You must be able to speak English to communicate with coworkers and guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation by following established recipes and culinary standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poachers, braising units and food processors.
Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques during meal prep and service.
Requirements:
Knowledge of food safety and sanitizing procedures in a professional kitchen setting
Experience with food production processes
Skilled in various cooking techniques including grilling
Prior restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
