Job Description
Lyons Roofing is seeking a dependable, hardworking Carpenter Helper to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.
The ideal candidate will assist experienced carpenters with various construction, roofing, and repair projects. We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn and grow with our company.
Job Responsibilities
Assist carpenters with framing, wood repairs, fascia, decking, and other carpentry-related tasks.
Measure, cut, and prepare wood and other construction materials.
Assist with removing and replacing damaged wood and structural components.
Load, unload, and transport tools and materials to job sites.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Assist with roofing-related carpentry and repair projects.
Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced carpenters.
Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous carpentry or construction experience preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working outdoors.
Comfortable working on ladders and at heights while following safety procedures.
Ability to work outdoors in Arizona weather conditions.
Reliable transportation to the designated work location.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
