We are looking for **dependable, hardworking individuals** to join our camel ride team in **Tempe, Arizona** for our regular season.
This is a fun and unique outdoor job working around camels, families, and the general public. You will be working directly with customers throughout the day, so a **positive attitude, dependability, and strong customer service skills** are extremely important.
## Pay
**Starting at $19/hour**
## Schedule
* We operate **Monday through Sunday**
* Regular operating hours are **8:00 AM to 5:00 PM**
* Both **weekday and weekend availability** is needed
* Work schedules will vary depending on staffing needs
* Applicants should include which days of the week they are available to work
## Job Duties Include
* Controlling and organizing camel ride lines
* Maintaining safety on and around the ride platform
* Assisting children and adults on and off the camel ride
* Interacting professionally and positively with customers
* Helping keep the ride area clean, organized, and safe
* Setup and cleanup duties
* For qualified individuals: handling, walking, feeding, watering, and cleaning up after camels
* Assisting with general animal care as needed
## Requirements
* Must be **dependable and show up on time** for every scheduled shift
* Must work well with families and children
* Must be comfortable working outdoors in the **Arizona heat**
* Must be able to stand and remain active for long periods
* Must be able to **easily lift 50+ pounds**
* Must have reliable transportation
* Must be willing to work weekends when scheduled
* Hoof stock, livestock, farm, ranch, or animal experience is a plus, but **not required**
* Training is provided on the job
