Room is available! Looking for a gay or gay friendly roommate to share a comfortable no drama chill household. I realize that living with strangers can be stressful and it takes some time to get used to. I have been renting rooms in my home for 15 years. My roomies stay on average 8 years. The reasons are, there is lots of privacy, I don’t have ridiculous rules. I figure if you live here you should feel like it’s home and enjoy your life. Everyone here has their own life however we sometimes sit out on the porch at night and socialize on occasion. I try to make everyone feel at home and welcome. If you pay to live here you should feel at home NOT just a tenant staying at someone else’s place. I have a very large master bedroom with private bathroom. Rent is $895 per month and includes many perks! Rent includes: All utilities, Free WiFi, Free Netflix, Free Prime, Free Direct Satellite TV with your own DVR, a 75 inch TV, Free laundry. The room comes with a queen sized bed, desk, dresser and storage. A large walk in closet, a mid sized refrigerator and microwave however you have free access to the full kitchen as well. I have a exercise gym in my home that you will have access to. Full access to a steam sauna and jacuzzi. Five foot deep in ground pool and cabana. Large Koi pond. Reserved parking space off street and a quiet, friendly, and safe neighborhood. We are very close to shopping at Colonade, Biltmore, Town and Country, restaurants, night clubs and much more! Public transport is also near by. I do not require a lease. Rent is month to month due on the first of every month. There is a $300 deposit upon move in or to hold the room till December 1. It is fully refundable if you leave the room clean. Now for the challenges of renting from me… I have friendly dogs (Labrador Retrievers and German Shepards) I stay in a casita in the back and they stay with me. You will have minimal interaction with them unless you choose to. They will never be in your private space unless you invite them. On the bright side you will never have to worry about burglars or what to do with leftovers! I do a background check and will not rent to anyone with a felony. I don’t tolerate drug use other than weed. Smoking tobacco is allowed only outside. I will also not tolerate an alcoholic. You must provide proof of income. We are NOT neat freaks however I do have a housekeeper that cleans the kitchen and livingroom weekly. The house is clean but NOT white glove clean. Sometimes a little disorganized. The house is mostly quiet however the house was built in 1957 and its plaster and brick so sound does travel.
