I’ve had this table 15 years, and have loved pulling up a chair and resting my feet on the flare of the stump. My dog has found his favorite spot to curl up between the root extensions.
White cedar tree stump/root flare base.
Oval top made from spalted maple: 6’-6” long by 47” wide by 2-⅜” thick
Assembled with an angle iron armature/bracket attached to the bottom of the table top and set into kerfs (grooves) in the top of the base.
The table is heavy, and very stable.
I am refinishing the top with a clear water-based sealer.
The base has been treated with teak oil.
Price reflects the table’s value as used and well-cared for.
